Gandhi was right when he joked that Western democracy was a great idea, someone should give it a go. Even in ancient Greece, the ‘cradle of democracy’, large parts of the population were excluded from participation. Not only were women and slaves denied even their most basic human rights, but even many 'free' men could not afford to take office, because in those days politicians didn’t get paid a salary by the state.
In modern times the situation only got worse. To make any significant difference, leave alone gain office, politicians need to form or join a party. For such party to be successful, it needs to spend lots of money on party organization and election campaigns. It also needs lots of publicity and that comes at a price too. You only need to watch how desperately U.S. presidential candidates are trying to earn brownie points with the likes of Rupert Murdoch and AIPAC. Whoever brings in the most donations and media support has the most power within a party organization. This is how parties get corrupted by lobby interests, in America and elsewhere. Of course there have been numerous attempts by politicians to break free from those shadowy forces, once they gained office, and do what they thought was right. If they were lucky, they only lost their chances of being re-elected. If not, they were destroyed by intrigue, assassination or even war. Black box voting"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything." – Josef Stalin Democracism, I prefer this term because it squarely puts this form of government side by side with communism and fascism, has always been the hoax it is today. Black box voting has only perfected the scam. It is no surprise that it was the Neopaths who had the guts to introduce election fraud on such a massive scale. After all, they are nothing but a bunch of crypto-Trotzkists. Together with false-flag terrorist attacks on a massive scale, committed by our governments with the help of foreign powers and the corporated media, black box voting is an essential ingredient of a new, Orwellian-style of government: Post-Democracism. Call me a cynic, but I don't think black box voting is such a bad thing. Ensuring a win of the candidates selling themselves best to our ruling crime families no longer requires huge investments. It's always 'we, the sheeple' who has been paying the bill anyhow and our unelected rulers who gets her return on investment. Thanks to the Internet, election manipulation is now as safe, easy and cheap as a click on the mouse. Black box voting also removes the trouble arising when the Windsor-Rothschild crime syndicate doesn't get its way. In the past they always had to resort to mass strikes, murder, terrorism or even war to keep our politicians in line. The only thing that worries me is that they think they can get away with it. But then again, most people simply don't care. They are more interested in whether Paula Abdul was drunk on 'American Idol', than what happens in politics. (Paula was not drunk, but had Aspartame poisoning from too much Coke Zero. The brain damaging effect of the FDA approved artificial sweetener, of course, isn't what 'Idol' fans are interested in.) Resisting the 'Matrix'The question to ask is why we should care. What's so bad about living in a 'Matrix' style world? That is a question everybody has to answer for himself. Personally, I hate being taken for a fool by some self-chosen ruling elite. I hate living in an illusion, where nothing is what it seems. It's like living on 'happy pills', you always pay a price. At least, in a 20th century style social welfare system, everybody used to be taken care of from the cradle to the grave. But now we are being told that we can no longer afford this. Our ruling crime families have become cocky and unwilling to share. I guess they no longer need to keep the masses happy, now that they have decided to no longer scare us with the 'communist threat'. It's no coincidence that the fall of the Soviet Union and the destruction of social welfare have gone hand in hand. And then there are those thousands of people killed by their own governments to create excuses for more war and oppression. Those hundreds of thousands killed as a result of the 'War of terror'. Those millions of refugees who are refused their right of return. And entire countries poisened for generations by the psychopathic use of DU coated ammunition. Resisting the 'Matrix' of course comes at a high price. Most people react with bewilderment and denial if confronted with the truth. Being a prophet has never been popular. I guess it's also a bit cruel, like waking up a Guantánamo Bay Zoo prisoner who is having a nice dream. Exposing the 'Matrix' is a safe way to destroy your career and social network. You are labelled a conspiracy theorist, an anarchist, anti-Semite or even terrorist. And, as it is always the case with anyone with responsibility for others, we have to measure our actions by the effect it has on our loved ones, not just by our words or intentions. It's a bit like the ethical dilemma of a Palestinian father, who knows that his family is facing detention, torture, house demolition or targeted killing if he enters the armed resistance against Zionist occupation. If he does, without having protected his family, you could argue that he is a bad father and husband, in spite of the fact that an armed resistance against the rogue entity is understandable and in principal morally justified. On the other hand, we need to consider the consequences of our inaction. What kind of world are we leaving behind for our children and grand-children? Can we bare the thought of them living on a prison planet? The tools and methods of oppression get better and better, and we soon will reach the point of no return. I grew up in a society that praises the virtues of resistance against dictatorship and oppression. Those Sunday speeches of course were talking about resistance against fascism, and all the lies surrounding Word War II. But who says we can't apply those lessons to our 'Brave New World'?!
