Hamas cannot be defeated, so it must be brought to heel

AFP only quotes Netanyahu's spokeswoman as saying that discussing core issues were irrelevant because they would lead nowhere and the goal wasn't clear.

It always makes me sad to see Arab writers likening the Zionist treatment of Palestinians to what Jews had to endure in the Third Reich, especially if the writers are Palestinians. It’s not that I have any sentimental feelings for Hitler and his particular style of government, nor that I am worried about the sensitivities of people who have.
